Come join the "Hiking Heroes" as we hike to bring a backpack to a Hopi or Navajo child
Welcoming partners of all "Walks" to join us... hiking clubs, gyms, yoga studio's, etc.
When: Saturday, May 6th 2017, 8 am
Registration: $20 (includes Spring Yoga Festival ticket) and release form.
Where:
- Choice 1: 8 am, Meet at 898 E 3300 S, Salt Lake City (Rancho Market Parking Lot) We will carpool to trailhead.
- Choice 2: 8:30 am, Meet us at Millcreek Canyon, Thaynes Canyon Trailhead (Across from Church Fork)
This will be a fun community hike for a great cause, and includes a ticket to the Spring Yoga Festival the same day, with ecstatic dance, workshops, yoga, food, vendors, kids kamp. We will be filling each backpack with school supplies, a toy, toiletries and novelties.
Each hiker registration of $20 will go to fund one backpack for one child and includes a ticket to the Spring Yoga Festival.
Extra donations accepted for more backpacks.
